Dover Fire Department is the only Capital in the United States that is still an all Volunteer Organization.

In 2023, 1,613 calls were answered by Dover's Volunteers.

Some of these calls were the following:

• Motor Vehicle Crashes (MVC's)
• Automatic Fire Alarms
• Structure Fires
• Water Rescues
• Elevator Rescues
• Hazardous Materials Incidents
• And various other emergencies

What does your donation go towards?

• General Operating Budget
• Equipment Repairs and Replacements
• Training

 

How much should I donate?

What value do you place on knowing that your Fire Department has the equipment and training they need to protect you, your loved ones, and your property whenever you call 9-1-1?
